Sergio Serratto grew up in Montevideo, Uruguay, where he learned early that a well-built home is more than four walls; it's the center of a family's life. He came to New York with his family, and that same ethic, the kind you learn by watching people work with their hands, stayed with him. He went on to Westchester Community College, where he is currently one of its trustees, and then to NYU Stern, where he studied Finance. Deeply rooted in the community he calls home, Sergio's work with Sefer is an extension of that same commitment.
But it was buying his first multi-family property and renovating it himself that changed everything. The problem-solving, the craftsmanship, the transformation of a space into something people actually want to come home to; none of that felt like work the way spreadsheets did.
